Camping with Children
Family camping trips provide lifetime memories. A fun vacation also teaches responsibility and an appreciation of the natural world.
When camping with children:
- Feed children small portions rather than large meals during the day to provide energy for hiking and swimming without stomach aches.
- Dressing your child in bright colored clothing makes them more noticeable.
- Long pants and long sleeves will help prevent exposure to poisonous plants and insect bites.
