About Camp Safe

Camp Safe was founded to build public awareness of the importance of using outdoor products safely, in order to help make outdoor camping and other related outdoor activities an enjoyable and injury-free experience. Camp Safe is a gateway to safe outdoor recreation information and products online.

Camp Safe began as the Coalition for Portable Propane Product Safety, a non-profit organization formed in 1997 to educate the public about the safe use of portable propane products, helping people avoid potentially dangerous situations.
