Indoor Heaters
There are certain types of indoor-safe portable heaters that are specifically designed to reduce the risk of Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning when used inside a tent, camper, RV or during a power outage. Today’s indoor-safe portable propane heaters are designed with safety devices including an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) and top-over shut-off switch. These heaters
can operate for hours with 1lb. propane cylinders. Additional features include a built-in battery powered fan, carry handle, and connections for attaching an LP extension hose outside of the heating space to a 20lb. propane tank.
If a portable heater can be used indoors, it will state that on the packaging and in the instructions. ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING THESE INDOOR HEATERS.
For more specific information regarding the availability and proper use of these products, contact the manufacturer and consult and follow the instructions and warnings for the product.
